Algebra Difficulty 4.7 AIME Find the answer
Find logn(21)logn−1(31)⋯log2(n1) in terms of n.
A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.
Solution
Using logx1=−logx and logba=logbloga, we get that the product equals logn⋯log3log2(−log2)(−log3)⋯(−logn)=(−1)n−1.
