Geometry Difficulty 2.3 Junior Find the answer

How many edges does a square-based pyramid have?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

A square-based pyramid has 8 edges: 4 edges that form the square base and 1 edge that joins each of the four vertices of the square base to the top vertex.
