Algebra Difficulty 1.9 Junior Find the answer

If 3−5+7=6−x 3-5+7=6-x , what is the value of x x ?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

Simplifying the left side of the equation, we obtain 5=6−x 5=6-x . Therefore, x=6−5=1 x=6-5=1 .
