Algebra Difficulty 2.2 Junior Find the answer

The integer 2014 is between which powers of 10?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

Since 100=1,101=10,102=100,103=1000,104=10000 10^{0}=1,10^{1}=10,10^{2}=100,10^{3}=1000,10^{4}=10000 , and 105=100000 10^{5}=100000 , then 2014 is between 103 10^{3} and 104 10^{4} .
