Algebra Difficulty 1.7 Junior Find the answer

If 3imesn=6imes23 imes n=6 imes 2, what is the value of nn?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

Since 3imesn=6imes23 imes n=6 imes 2, then 3n=123n=12 or n=123=4n=\frac{12}{3}=4.
