Algebra Difficulty 4.0 AIME Find the answer South Africa

Jess is standing in a queue of people. She is 18th from the front and 35th from the back.
How many people are in the queue?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

There are 1717 people in front of Jess and 3434 behind her. Including herself this makes 17+1+34=5217 + 1 + 34 = 52 people.
