Geometry Difficulty 5.1 AIME, harder Prove it Ukraine

In isosceles triangle ABCABC with the vertex in BB there are altitudes BHBH and CLCL. Point DD is such that BDCHBDCH is a rectangle. Find the angle DLHDLH.

Solution

Let us denote by OO the intersection of diagonals of rectangle HBDCHBDC (Fig. 3). Since CBL\triangle CBL has right angle, BO=LO=DOBO = LO = DO, therefore, HO=LO=DOHO = LO = DO. Hence, DHL\triangle DHL is the right triangle with the hypotenuse DHDH, which yields DLH=90\angle DLH = 90^\circ.
